MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard)

A chipboard substrate with a colour or woodgrain surface paper applied in production on both sides. Not as hard wearing as Compact but good in lightweight vertical applications or low wear environments. Can be supplied in a moisture resistant grade for washrooms. Commonly used in shop-fitting and exhibition stand construction as well as furniture applications. Normally supplied banded to ensure a clean, matching hygienic edge.
